Monica is an industry expert in multiples areas, including, but not limited to inside the Loop, Memorial, the Heights, and Spring Branch. Her expertise extends to single-family new construction, resale, and custom home sales as well as condominiums. She has extensive experience with 1031 Exchanges and works with foreign sellers who are subject to FIRPTA.

Monica graduated cum laude from Dedman College of Law (Southern Methodist University). She was inducted into the Order of the Coif, named a Hutchison Fellow (full merit scholarship), and was an editor of the SMU Law Review. She received her BA magna cum laude in Chinese History and Political Science from Colorado College and studied Mandarin Chinese as a PICAS Fellow at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. 

In her spare time, Monica likes spending time with her husband, two adult children and three fur babies. She enjoys playing Sudoku, practicing Vinyasa Yoga, and attending live performances of Musicals and Chamber Music. Monica believes in serving her community and actively donates to Houston PetSet, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund, and various performing arts organizations.
